All's well that ends well for kind-hearted Rainbow How lucky for her that the starfish's dad was Neptune. It sure does help in this world if you know the right people and they are prepared to put in a good word for you!

Definitely a fairy and a star on mine. What a lovely story, Maria. Kindness doesn't take much effort, and even though it's not done to be rewarded, there is a warm feeling inside for having helped someone. Lovely. :) Sandra (Thank you for liking and sharing my book on FB.xxx)

Thanks, Sandra. xxx.
And you deserve the publicity, you'd do the same.
BTW, do you know who I met for coffee today?
-
No, Ulla?
-
Yes. It's the second time we've met and we had a great time.
-
I did wonder if you lived anywhere near each other. I like Ulla, we have spoken to each other on Skype. :))
-
Not really near, but she was traveling...

I love the fairy tale. The theme of doing good deeds is a good story for children to hear. I think this would make a great children's picture book. I love to see it with illustrations.

Thanks so much for reading and for the generous review. I had a lovely picture for this story, but when I uploaded it a pug (one that I used long ago) appeared instead of a fairy. Weird...

Of course she should be commended, she has what is sadly lacking on Earth, someone who cares for an ordinary starfish, many are washed onto beaches every day, but who cares? Beautifully written, with a very worthwhile theme, well done Maria, blessings, Roy

Ha, ha. This is an highly entertaining slice of silliness. You start off with a fantasy setting, and then add to the fantasy layer by layer, ratcheting up the incredulity of the situation as you go. It's neatly constructed {smiles}.
There's just one [very] minor point I picked up on:
She was beautiful, like most of her kind, but she was also gentle and loving. -- Hmm... This implies some fairies aren't gentle and/or loving. Of course, that may be your intention...

That's what I meant to imply... ;)
Met Ulla today for coffee and we were talking about how nice you are and about your thorough reviews.
Thanks for reading.
