A beautiful little story. No grammatical errors that I could find, the dialog seemed natural. I would have liked a 'hook' to Capella before the accident. Something that would have tied it all together.

A great, warm entry, humanising Capella. You kept me absorbed. Obviously, I knew this must be a star, because the piece is called, 'touched by the stars', but I was waiting for the revelation. I willed your patient to grasp the flower, understanding that this meant coming out of a coma. Excellent writing.

I so enjoyed this well-written and fascinating story about a near-death experience. I enjoyed learning about the stars, Capella. Your story makes one wonder whether we are connected to the stars--there are supposed to be so many of them--more than we can imagine--maybe one for each of us. Well done, and I think you will do well in the contest.

A very well written fictional story about the Capella star come to visit the child while fighting for her life. When she made it through and could not find cappy anywhere she finally found it in the stars of the night sky.

I have no words to tell you how much I enjoyed reading this. Please know that it touched me. I like the idea of Cappy offering her the flower, and when she reached for it, she returned to life. Good luck in the contest.

This meets the contest requirements splendidly as you deliver a complete and thoroughly engaging story about a star within the word count limits allotted. It is a delightful read with a beautifully hopeful ending. Good luck in the voting and thank you very much for sharing it.

How very interesting - I'm learning a lot from these poems and stories about the stars. Frankly I never learned the names or positions - my husband can usually name them
But your story is excellent in blending in the name and the vision. I enjoyed it a lot.

This piece is beautiful and powerful, and deserves another star for the story and quality of the writing. However, it does not seem to me to fulfill the writing prompt "write the myth or legend of how it came into existence." This is all detailed below the story. I think some adjustments should be made to bring some of this information into the tale. Sorry.

This is really a good story! It might be a fantasy, but when I was near death's door, I remember the dark and then the light now and then. Someone, I don't know who but they kept taking me to the place where they cleaned fish. It sounds stupid but it was so real. But then I wanted to go outside and watch the waves rolling in! LOL There wasn't a body of water for a hundred miles! I do like your story.

Wow! Isn't it amazing some of our experiences that have no explanation right now? I firmly believe that we'll find out some day.... ;) Thank you for your review!

You're welcome! And yes it is funny. I think it's a mechanism built in because if we knew how sick we were we might not have been able to handle it. I was almost dead. I had SEPSIS usually you die. I had it and it got bad a second time. I think it must have been my guardian angel taking care of me!
