A very well-written 3-5-3 poem about our life source that starts with trees, which create oxygen so that we can breathe. When we burn down the forests we are to blame for the lack of our life source.

Poignant words here and fire occurs across the globe and causes great devastation to wildlife and to our precious land and the more trees that burn the less oxygen we produce, a fine warming in this nature write, love Dolly x

When I see the image of burning trees, I think of the California and Canada fires. Acres and acres of burning trees, acres and acres of burnt ground. It's so sad to hear this kind of news. Good luck in the contest.

That's an incredible photo and a very descriptive 3-5-3 to go with it. Bushfires are a scourge in our parts and each year they seem to get more and more severe. Good luck in the contest.

Ooh, this reminds me of all those fires in California. My cousin lost her home, but luckily it was a rental, and no family members were hurt. All those family photos, though.... I enjoyed the read. This image you chose is very striking. Thanks for sharing.

A forest fire is a triple tragedy. The loss of trees and the life that lives within the forest, the loss of oxygen consumed by the fire, and the loss of the oxygen the trees might have provided. I've hated forrest fires ever since I first watched Bambi.
