Hello Sandra,
A perfect ending to a wonderful tale. Eric should raise a few notches in the eyes of The Wise Ones for helping to improve the relations and understanding between the Indians and the settlers. An excellent theme for a young person's book.

"I feel so nervous now." I wonderful if that was taken from the author's nervousness about reading her book in front of a crowd. LOL

Ellie's [mum] had come to stand beside her, (not sure whether you want to maintain 'ma' here or not?)

Eric should a great object (the totem pole) for show and tell at school. Either that, or he could just bring in Herbie.

Great adventure, my friend. Nobody would have ever guess it was Drozig! :)

LOL! No one would guess it was Drozig!! I bet you were gobsmacked! Thank you so much for all the lovely reviews, Robert, you've had me laughing many times. I'll sort, 'mum' out and perhaps I'll ask Graham to make a totem pole. That would please him! Thank you for giving me another of your precious sixth stars, I was not expecting that, and I feel truly humbled. Biggest hugs, my friend. Sandra xx

All well that ends well; a beginning has an end; Eric's epic adventure ends; he bids goodbye to all and his new friends; your art of writing evidently is praiseworthy, a great job done; congrats for you are going to be published; I enjoyed the read.

What a terrific ending. It wrapped things up with a nice fancy bow on top. I love how you added how Eric might see his other friend again. It's a good lead to a sequel, so I hope. Herbie is right, Eric is quite a handful, lol. The chapter is well-written very interesting start to finish as always. It deserves a six-star, but unfortunately, I'm all out.

Aw, thank you, My friend. I will be writing another adventure but not for a little while. I'm going to have a bit of a break, make some notes, and write some poetry. But, Eric and his friends will be back. I'm so pleased you enjoyed this story, Misty, I've not let Eric see it yet. I can't wait to see his reaction to this adventure. Thanks for all your encourageing review, my friend. Big hugs. :)) Sandra xx

Awwwwwww.....it's over!! :) Hey, I never got the chance to read the first book and I guessed the Medicine Man (one point for the blonde over here - LOL!). Seriously, though, this is an awesome story and your tie-in from the first book sets a GREAT precedent for your additional follow-ups so that your readers will be looking for them to re-appear (just make sure to put them in different places on the next few....LOL! ;) :) A wonderful book with which I wish you much success -- your grandson is a very lucky young man!! ;) :) Yvette

Thank you so very much, Yvette!! What a brilliant review. When I read your last review I had to smile knowing you'd got it right. LOL. I'm so pleased you thought this story was a good one. I'll be bringing Drozig back in each of the books I'm going to write as he'll be watching over Eric, but without interfering.
Thank you again, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

A lovely end to the story. Imagine the medicine man doubling up as Drozig what a surprise for Eric and his Gizmo. I am very sorry I don't have a six today, can I come back on Sunday and change? I'll try. I did not find any spag, this was perfect.
Wishing you and Eric the very best,
Sylvia

Hello sandramitchell

Read your final chapter of your enjoyable adventurer with your creative story about Eric and his side partner Herbie the robot with a smile reading each chapter.
If there were any corrections to be made,(where are they)? I found none.

Gert

This is wonderful as usual my dear friend. You have such an
imagination. I had one when I was young, but it got lost along the way. LOL Looking forward to your nest book. Here's a six for a fine job. Hugs. Nancy:)

Aww, bless you, Nancy! That is so nice of you. You were the one I was most wary of, being a cowgirl and having written western stories. This was a bit out of my comfort zone, but it was what Eric wanted. He'll be going to ancient Egypt next time, that I know a bit about! Thank you for all your encouragement, my dear friend, you've been great. And a huge hug for the 6 stars! I'll be taking a little break getting this ready to publish, but will be popping in with a poem or two. It's been ages since I wrote one. Thanks again, my dear friend. Sandra xxxx

Hello Dear Sandra - Bravo! You've done it again. Lovely ending to a great story - the last two paragraphs are a little sad - parting and never seeing each other again. The only little phrase 'now talking one to the dozen' that I question - we know its meaning, I use 'ten to the dozen', but it's perhaps out of place here in a children's book. Something simple - animated, excitedly etc. A tiny quibble - probably not worth mentioning, so ignore! I am really full of admiration for you and I hope and feel sure, Eric will be thrilled with his story. A lovely idea to give copies to Eric's new school - he will be so proud of you. Good Luck - love Dorothy xx

Thank you so very much, Dorothy, for this lovely review. I can see what you mean, and have changed that now. I messed up with the 'one' when it was meant to be 'ten' anyway. lol. It now reads:
They both turned to look across at Ellie, now enthusiastically telling her story, her arms waving about in her excitement as she twirled to show off her braided hair and Indian dress... (I never ignore suggestions)
I think it reads a lot better now, so thank you for pointing that out.. It's amazing what one suggestion can do to make me change the whole sentence! Thank you, also, for the gold star, my wonderful friend, that's a lovely way for this book to end. Big hugs, Sandra xxxx

Hi Sandra, Yes, sounds great. 'Ten to the dozen' is an idiom children would not be familiar with - your change is perfect. Dorothy xxxx

Beautifully set up for the next adventure! I don't think I've met Zig and Drozig before. They sound a bit like Gog and Magog!
Nicely wrapped up with all the loose ends tucked in. Congratulations! I'm sure that Eric will be rapt, too.

Drozig was in the first book, Eric and the Aliens. I wrote it last year alongside the final time-travel book. Zig was his son. The next adventure will be Eric and the Pharoahs. That will be a fun one to write. I love Egypt, I've been three times to see the tombs etc.

Thank you, Tony, for this amazing review and the six stars. I wasn't expecting any for this book being late in the week. I'm delighted you enjoyed this little adventure, I'll be biting my nails waiting for the verdict from my grandson.

Gog and Magog, this must sound terrible, but I'd never heard of them. I've just Googled them and found they are written in the Old Testament and the New! I can't understand how I've never heard of them. I'll be reading up on them now. From what I gathered, they are famous in many countries around the world. Thank's for saying that, I've now learned something new that is old!! lol. Big hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

Kind of a sad note that Ellie won't see Eric and his strange friends again, but otherwise, a nice happy ending. I see you left it open for a sequel. Good idea.

It's great that the school will be using the book! :)

Thank you, Phyllis, for this lovely review. There will be a few stories of Eric and Herbie, and Drozig will feature in them all. Next adventure won't be until next year when they get transported to ancient Egypt. :)) Big hugs my friend. xx
