I enjoyed your contest entry, Mystery Author. I like the color scheme, the image, the monorhyme, and the informative video. Thanks for sharing and best wishes. Jan

Thank you so much for the enthusiastic review.

I 'm glad my wee poem appealed to you. I too love the colour of amber ..and I feel its beauty is enhanced by a black background..

..the butterfly, perfectly preserved, is amazing.

I thought the spider about to eat its prey were the best-preserved insects in the video.

Took a while, but I eventually was able to tie this beautiful piece to the contest's scheme... It appears the photo is of a butterfly fossil?? Really beautiful. Really good rhymes too.

I feel the last word should be posterity and not prosperity....

Thank you for the helpful input. I edited .. It did sounded off ( biggrin )

I think Amber ( ambra in italian ) is just mesmerising and the butterfly is amazing.

I thought to highlight the warm golden colour with a black background. ( smile )

Thank you for the 5 shiny stars.

I hope you have a nice weekend.

    Ciao !

These immortalised amber stones are amazing and fetch a tidy penny too, they are fascinating to look at and some people make them into jewellery, I liked your poem reminding us that these are precious and beautiful keepsakes, love Dolly x
