The beauty of the picture is a perfect harmony for this poem. I don't know if it was intentional or not but the blossoms look like cherry blossoms - giving a nice nod to the Japanese origin of Haiku.

Beautiful poem =)

I do love those buds - the pictures that come to mind - and it is a promise, a prompt for other trees to follow. We've winter yet to face and endure. Enjoy your spring.

You have made excellent use of all of your syllables in this lovely haiku.
Yes, those early buds are like leaders, coaxing the other seasonal changes to come on out!

Nice and elegant poetry... It goes well with the artwork chosen. I love how you've chosen growth as one of your themes in your words. It's nice to see how things develop and change over time.

A very well-written haiku about the first signs of Spring is exciting when the seasons change we know the winter is over for a while although sometimes the summer heat make me sometimes longing for winter.
