You speak here in honest terms of the frustrations with communism, the chance at freedom, the struggles of being an immigrant. I think you have a great sketch here for a novel...the translation to English might be a challenge, but I think you should write in Romanian first because your native tongue comes naturally. It is a story worth telling , I think. You must have gone through some adventures. Maybe should have a talk with some of these numbskull socialists in the US who think they're going to create a better world. estory

Well, I do love history but especially hearing about your personal experiences and native country. Your story is fascinating. It's so unlike anyone I know personally, but reminds me of my European ancestry.
Sending you my best today as always,
Sally xo

I find this very interesting since all four of my grandparents immigrated from what was then Austria-Hungary. We were all lumped together under the ethnic slur of "Hunkies" and were only one status level higher than the Poles, or "Pollocks" as they were called. Now with my married name, people assume I'm Norwegian and ask me about my ancestors. Well, I guess that's all part of the melting pot! I look forward to following your book.

Isabella, you have shared a wonderful story of three different rich cultures.
Imagine having to learn different languages at the same time. You are definitely gifted.

Most interesting - and you've had quite the adventure - studying in a couple countries - what is your occupation now? Seems you're able to adapt well to different languages and countries.

Hello, my friend, I have a silly question: what time zone are the deadline for this site, from some reason i missed all the time. I'm in Mountain time western Canada
-
Not a silly question. I believe they operate in Eastern time zone, so you want to see it as 2 hours earlier for your submission. If it?s midnight, you want to do by 10 pm your time :) xoxo
