Thank you for taking the time to go back in my portfolio to seek out poems you missed while away. Yes, jetlag affects me more and more, but this trip had a lot of peaceful moments and was worth it, as this ensemble shows. Big smiles- Joan

Your poem describes quite well what a cruise can offer - and how the city visited calls out an appeal. Almost makes you want to get aboard and travel to other lands. Nice poem

The picture that you selected for your poem shows the elegance of the land. Then add the words and you have a great combination for a winning contest!
Good luck
Patty

Beautiful! I never really knew what Tallinn looked like. I just loved how they protested the Soviets with song. (Did you ever see the Singing Revolution? https://singingrevolution.com/about-the-film)
Those "captivating cultures" do call out beautifully with those colorful roofs and steeples.
Thanks for sharing and hope you are having a delightful time at OSF!

I am glad you liked the picture of Tallinn to represent the ?captivating cultures?. Thanks for the tip about the ?Singing Revolution?. Last night?s production of ?Macbeth? was masterful. Big smiles- Joan

What a lovely photograph of Tallinn and I can see why you shared it with us. Now, I want to hear all about the Shakespeare Festival and what you gained by attending. It sounds fascinating, Joan.

I am pleased you enjoyed the picture of Tallinn to represent the ?captivating cultures?. Last night?s production of ?Macbeth? was masterful, but there are always compelling contemporary plays on the schedule as well. Smiles- Joan

Lovely picture and the poem brings back memories of my trip to Helsinki. Unfortunately I overslept for what would have been a day trip to Estonia, but someday I hope to get there.

Very nice picture and very nice poem about your cruise. I felt like I wanted to get on that ship with you, especially for the captivating cultures playing out beyond the water and beyond the shore.
