All is well when ends well: with a feast, dancing and release of the kidnapped girl. These phrases made me laugh:" "It means your dad was being bolshie, stroppy. And I wasn't!"
Thomas looked at them both and shook his head. "I can't believe I'm hearing this! You're acting like a couple of kids. Can we go and get Ellie now before she gets too old?" Thank you for sharing.

You have your models. That's so sweet. I'm glad everything worked out for finding Ellie May, but I'm wondering what the Medicine Man. He probably wants to know what Herbie is.

Ahh, there is more to it than that, Yvonne. How come a Medicine Man of an Arapaho tribe in the early 1800's can speak perfect English when no one else in the tribe can? We'll see when Eric finds out. :)) Thank you so much for another of your lovely reviews, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

The rescuing of a little girl had a bit of mystery for me. Maybe because I didn't know the beginning. Nevertheless, the girl feared one of the rescuers rather than her suppose to be capturers.

Yes, the rescuer was something strange to Ellie May, at least her captors were human1 Lol. Thank you so much for the six stars, my friend, and the lovely review. Big hugs. Sandra xxx

I am not very good at nit picking unless they leap off the page and bite me. None did this time. I thought this post thoroughly delightful. I thought the opening description of the scene inside the tepee, along with ellie fear and refusal to go with Herbie was very well done indeed. It reminded me of the final couplet of Hillaire Belloc's Poem Jim:
And always keep ahold of nurse
For fear of finding something worse.

That is such a lovely review, Jim, thank you so very much. I agree with you and Hillaire Belloc's poem, it holds true for any scary situation. Big hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx
