-I don't know how Rasheed kept driving!
-As Helen and Charles are set to
relax, the news comes on and
reports on a bombing that has taken place.
-As they watch, it seems Rasheed, as well as
Helen and Charles, are now the suspected terrorists.
-This is certainly a twist in the plot;
can things get any worse?! Probably!
-You did a great job with this chapter;
I could easily visualize it as a movie scene.
-Now we need some good actors-
maybe Charlize Theron as Helen and
Matt Damon as Charles! I will leave Jeanne to you!

Wow what drama in Lahore with Rasheed, it seems he is much more than a conman taxi driver. Plenty of twists in this story Tony, you don't know who to trust.

Hello Tony.
More twist and turns, you can't trust anyone in a Tony Fawcus story.
That red turban is a bit of an eye-catcher.
There must be some underlying connection between Rasheed and
the mission of Helen and Charles. It would be stretching coincidence
to think Rasheed's appearance was just a random evident.
I think Charles is in over his head, hopefully Helen continues to display
the instincts of an experience operative.
Well done, worthy of a six but I'm a little short of them this week.

Hello Tony.

That red turban is a bit of an eye-catcher.
There must be some underlying connection between Rasheed and
the mission of Helen and Charles. It would be stretching coincidence
to think Rasheed's appearance was just a random evident.
I think Charles is in over his head, hopefully Helen continues to display
the instincts of an experience operative.

Yes, you?d have thought Rasheed might have chosen a less distinctive colour if he had any sense. You?re right about stretching coincidence. He must have known they were coming. Question is, who?s the leak, and what?s the connection with Th Lion? As Charles might have said, ?Dashed if I know!?

Rasheed was building his alibi and it explains the gun. He is a terrorist and is trying to shift the blame to Charles and Helen. It won't be long when Charles and Helen will be interrogated by the authorities. This chapter has built suspense. Looking forward to the next chapter.

You can?t trust anyone these days, especially in a mystery/thriller. I think the ?red turban? and ?tall man? made them jump to the right conclusion early. Perhaps these two are smarter than they sometimes seem!

It makes me glad I gave up stamp collecting some years ago. With luck, these two may think of a clever ruse to get them out of trouble, temporarily at least. Whether it will be another six star effort remains to be seen. They?re working on it.

I sure like the more ordinary details such as a jessamine bush and pye-dog. I had to look up the word "slewed," but you kind of give a clue by using "swung around" in a paragraph soon after that. Not sure what to fix, except to point out that "slewed" did not make sense to a run-of-the-mill American reader.
