This flash fiction story, Magical Maneuverability, has a fun premise of the reverse morphing of prince to frog. A neat concept with both sides benefiting. Neat.

Hoots! Sounds more like magical manipulation to me! Your such a good writer, your ideas are very original. Couldn't follow that caliber if I tried! Thanks for sharing your whimsical tale.
Hugs, Trisha

Oh, Trisha -- you are so wonderful!! ;) You have no idea what those stars mean, ma'am -- been a long past week and I'm just feeling like I'm 'dug out enough' to find some rhythm in my routine.... here's hoping! :) Thanx for those wonderful stars for my blonde insanity on Friday -- it just felt good to do something 'rebel-like' and mess up a few Fairy Tales...LOL! :) I'm telling you, the blonde is crazy! ;) :) Thanx again and have a wonderful week ahead.... think of the nutty teachers out here (even the part-timers like me!). ;) YVette

I had one left... Snow gets it... I have her dress in my closet. ;) Okay... naming the tadpoles... now you know they will get their Froggie names when they come of age... that's the tradition with frogs. They get grown-up names when they evolve. ;)
Wiggles (is called Wiggles because she's ticklish and always giggling when she brushes some grass or something in the water)
Zippy (called so because he's so fast!)
Bumpy (has bad depth perception and bumps into everything)
Whiskers (hangs out in so much algae it grows on him... lol)
Boo ( short for Peek-a-boo... is always hiding somewhere, she is hard to find)
Tag-along (is always lagging behind)
Pokey (short for Slowpoke. Always slow at everything. Everyone has to have an Eyore.) ;)

So there you have it... now.... I'm throwing down the gauntlet for you. I want my 7 tadpoles tossed into your story that I'm waiting so desperately for!!! You can leave out Charming and Snow. I can't for my life see how they could ever fit into Reinassance of Enchantment... lol You might be able to squeeze in a few little tadpoles... for the cats maybe? Maybe their mother can tell the cat off... lol!
Hope this made you giggle a little... I wish I could put a note on the outside that said don't open until you're in need of a giggle... lol :) Have a fun Sunday! I'm going to wake up with a 3-year-old in my bed... :-I going to be a long day... Bye-Bye Lady Y! (today the Y stands for youthful! ;)

Yayyyy!! Y for youthful...I NEED that!! I'm having trouble finding my stride this year, but, don't worry, it's there, it's just hiding from me cuz things are so WEIRD with all the quiet! :) I started playing some background music and it helps! ;) I've also started taking a VERY different approach with needy parents: I don't pet them...at all!! ;) LOL! Seriously, I am polite but that's where it ends...I've decided that some of them are just waiting to get their toes stepped on and no manner of my 'niceties' is gonna change that. :) :) And I really have set a 'hard deadline' to make myself be 'together' by the coming weekend... things went smoother tonight with lesson prep, so I am expecting the week to go as well! ;) :)
Thank you for the gauntlet... I shall pick it up Wednesday or so when I take care of this one last obstacle (can't tell you yet, it's a secret, but you'll find out soon enough!!). Right now, I'm going to turn off this computer -- just put in my poem for Dean and I'm calling it quits for the night! ;) Take care of you and thank you for EVERYTHING, Lady S -- you are super-amazing! ;) :) Yvette
P.S. If I were to continue this insane story.... your names would win and I'd HAVE to use them - no competition!! ;) :)

So, you crossed Snow White with The Princess and the Frog... and I'm guessing Charm is that kind of frog who hatches the eggs and keeps them in his back pocket... or is that a toad?
Hmmmm

This would have been good for the Fairy tale makeup contest, Yvette. :) Still, I have not been on FanStory until today and I am glad to read your froggy tails. :) Good news and bad news I'm told, I didn't know about Dean. :( I think I'll write something scary in his honor, of course you will have to correct it. :) you know me can't see without my glasses... oh I got them on. :)

LOL! You always make me smile, Jose! ;) Yes, it was very sad to hear about Dean.... I'm sure many of you knew him better than myself (only been on a year). I look forward to reading any and all of your posts, sir! ;) ;) Thanx for the review and have a wonderful week ahead! ;) Yvette

Good luck in the contest. This is a twist upon Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and the Frog Prince, I think the tadpoles might be named for seven dwarves of some fame, HI-Ho, Hi-Ho,

It is a shame I know so much about Fairy Tales and not more about literature.

Good luck in the contest Yvette. This was rather well done, being both cute and entertaining to read. It had a very comfortable reading flow and I enjoyed how you drew from and twisted the tales. MMMmmm I would guess the seven tadpoles are named after the seven dwarfs, lol. Great job.

A very well-written flash fiction story about a fairy tale mix of princes and the frog, snow white and Prince charming, where all comes together once again with a magical kiss.

Fun indeed - one gets tired of happy endings where they all lived in the castle, wearing designer gowns. Great story - and Prince Frog was convincing - were those his tadpoles?
