Lol. I think I could relate early on here on Fanstory but eventually, contests and their deadlines just seem to be another impetus to keep writing something as opposed to nothing. (which I'd do if I weren't here.)

Thanks, lyenochka, for giving this a look. Bill

Haha, I think everyone here on FS can identify with that. What if it gets bad reviews, or worse, no reviews? We all feel it. Good luck in the contest.

LOL It is easy to relate to your words very strongly. You have written about what is in a lot of poetic hearts hoping to learn that their work is being read and appreciated. (I haven't figured out yet the connection of the poem to the picture and wish you had added a comment about it...but then, I am a bit scatter-brained so I'm it isn't surprising that I some times get confused.) Sigh Anyway, best wishes in the contest with this super entry!

I felt the image reflected one?s chances of anticipating the reviewers notions of good and bad. The maelstrom demonstrates my ability to find a clue.

I get it...emotions are all a whirl, especially while waiting for results...of course, hoping they are going to be good ones. You have captured the essence of this with the maelstrom! :-)

Bill,
Methinks that your ego can risk an entry in this contest with your post today!
Do l Ike your artwork and color scheme. All makes for a great presentation. Also appreciate that you too support FanArt.

Cool, Bill. A poem entry about entering a poem. Which came first, huh?
Love the tail-chasing. Contests are like that.
Best of luck.
Peace, Lee

You are hilarious, Sir Bill -- I wouldn't put the ego into it... your style is too freaking unique to have any tethering to a contest!! :) ;) You send me a note if you're ego needs a bit -- I'll remind it over and over what a truly awesome pen it wields! :) LOL! LOL! It is simply awesome... but you know what? The emotions you're able to convey in just these three lines is awesome! We feel the trepidation and the nerves... great job! ;) Thanx for sharing and good luck!! ;) :) Yvette

I may have to print this out for the refrigerator. Thank you, Yvette, for the shot in the arm. Bill
