My last one, Mike... because I saw that Pied Piper picture... knew exactly what you were going to say and laughed my ass off! Hahahahahahaha!!!! That was too funny... entirely creative and bloody well on the nose!!! Print it in leaflets and have it dropped by helicopter over the capital... about 10,000 copies ought to do it! Mostly over tourist areas but don't forget the residential areas! LOL

In vision, the poet could see and find how Pied Piper has been taking away the American citizens to the cliff to give them punishment for their follies of trusting an inefficient leader who promised to Make America Great Again; in practice has lost the melody in American living; well said, well done. This is both subtle and strong. Great literary allusion to The Pied Piper of Hamelin. I like the illustration--maybe 19th Century? The line: "Our very own Rasputin, casting a spell, a mass trance" sure has some nice short a assonance. Thanks for contributing to social/political commentary poems!
