Beautifully-crafted and Wonderfully written.
When I read something like this I think of my past search for love I thought I had love of my mother I thought I had the Love of My Wife and the love of my phony girlfriend afterwards but they were all false loves.

people in that situation are looking for their soulmate I look for my pathmate.
Someone on the same path as me someone that loves everything someone that knows the beauty of the person on the inside not the outside.

Thank you for your most perceptive and truly wise thoughts and
reflections on this, and so right on with all you shared. I especially
agree with you that the perpetual search for a 'soulmate' is risky
and over rated; as one finds out sooner or later. Your ideal is
for a 'pathmate' is indeed much more realistic and a better
choice and discretion and goal. Sincerely appreciate your
thoughtful read on my poem, and kind compliments as presented.
