This is a beautifully written story. You handle the theme with both compassion and respect. It is very hard for those that lacked a solid family core to deal with becoming parents themselves. This character is on the right track to breaking the abusive cycle as HE wants to be a good Father and HE acknowledges that it will only be possible with the help of his heavenly Father. Well done and thank you very much for sharing it.

Trusting God and yielding to Him makes all the difference. I have a wonderful love-filled life but my abusive, alcoholic father made many years difficult for my family, especially my mother. She held us together and provided for us. This is not just associated to the new generation, it has been around for a long time. It's good to see this sweet photo and see such loving care.
