Very interesting! I didn't expect that they would be snuggling and trying how to get Angel;'s bra off. LOL But, I'll be watching for more chapters to follow!
God bless!

Bret comes to life in the early part of the story when he was a child with Grandpa due to convincing dialogue. I assume that we will hear more about Cathy later, because so far, she is only seen though Bill's eyes. Enjoyed the read. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Bill and Cathy. This certainly sounded familiar to me. And then I read your author's notes and solve it previous work was lost. That's a shame. I hope you are able to recover and get back on track. Best wishes. Robert

This is a delightful, but unlikely story. However, I too believe in angels. My departed wife is one of them. I really enjoyed reading the story and I am looking forward to the next chapter. Delightful.

For the right man, only an Angel would give a man a chance with her today. The story hooked me line by line until I arrived at the end, which left me wanting more. Great writing.

Hey, guys,

Nice chapter -- right away, the couple meets and is making out??? Wow. That ain't how it was in the country I grew up in. hahaha The boys had to wait a weeeee bit longer than that!

Some notes:
1.) Laying back on the blanket, I watched the beautiful monarch
--> this is a form of dialogue, though it is narrative, so you can probably get away with it, but it should be 'lying'

2.) So, that being said, why don't we play (')Catch Me If You Can?('")

3.) "Oh, goody, goody! I'll let you do more than that. You (b)etcha!"

Thanks for the fun!

I love to read about angels so I'll definitely follow your story. Such a great beginning. Playing the roles and narrating keeps you busy throughout the story. Keep up the great work. See you in the next chapter. Great story.

In some of your paragraphs, is God talking to Bret or his dead grandfather? I seemed to enjoy Bret's new angel. It seems to take on Adam and Eve's relationship. This chapter was very entertaining.

I have had too many close calls to not believe in angels, so I was drawn to this story by the title. It is a whimsical write and delights the reader with conversation that is playful and this passage:

Yet, it's going to take an angel who is an expert on human behavior because she must contend with your 'attention-seeking, dramatic way of speaking, rapid shifts in emotion, and self-centered personality.' Have faith in me, my son--I'm looking." It made me laugh. Well done you two.

Hmmm, Vanderbilt Law School, not certain of your age, but did you know Jeanna Peeler, also a Vandy attorney? (from McEwen, TN originally).
