Oh dear, I never think that these lessons work unless the student is 100% interested! I can't imagine my grandson playing the piano, he can't sit still for five minutes! Much enjoyed, love Dolly x

You had a very nice mom. I wouldn't have been able to sit for a week if I'd done that! Glad your baseball game went well. Good luck in the contest.

Setting one's priorities is what one must learn to do, even if there are consequences. Is it better to disappoint your friends who will have to forfeit the game and possibly hold a grudge against you for it or sneak out on your mother who you know will just set up another consequence and forgive you? It sounds like you had a very nice mother.
