I enjoyed reading your meaningful poem. It is well-written and your message is truthful and insightful. I have no suggestions for any changes. I found your poem profound and your artwork choice interesting. Best wishes!

Hello again--I am glad you had time to post another poem. I enjoyed the eyecatching artwork and your free verse poem. Your social commentary was quite thought-provoking, even if it was "just a fairytale"! Cheers and best wishes in the contest- Joan

This is an interesting encounter practically begging the reader to stop and consider political similarities and discover the actual truth and accept it before locking into an opinion to spread around widely. The posting is quite fascinating.

Oh, I hope it's something that can actually happen. I doubt the president with foot in mouth disease can win another election, but who will replace him? I hope someone with some sense will turn up.

The title of the poem is interesting-An American Fairy Tale. Without saying it the poet is taking a stand and making a statement to the reader, that one needs to seek truth and facts in mutual respect. Awesome.

A beautiful and very realistic masterpiece. The title of the poem is deciding and could be interpreted as a fairy tale or another type of diary that brings up the realities of the American Society. Good luck with your writing

A very well-written free verse poem. Sometimes it seems that the world we grew up in simply doesn't exist anymore and the new generation want to make the American dream, a faitype tale.

An American Fairy Tale it may well be, but one that all countries should heed. The divisions within society are becoming wider and more strongly expressed, leading to polarising of opinions rather than an earnest will for collaborative solutions. Partisan rigidity of opinion is dangerous as it leads to mob behaviour, and the mob is an unthinking beast.
Your poem offers the only sensible solution, where the people get some sense and then realise a new truth based on the middle ground is better for harmony: 'proceeded to construct a new truth based on facts and embedded in mutual respect' - how hopeful, but probably how hopeless, given all the invested interests that now shackle our dreams.
Just one thing to correct:
"in decibel's so loud "(decibels does not need the apostrophe as it is a plural word, not possessive.)

I so wish your fairytale was real. With the political, social and racial issues, I never realized they were so predominate in our society until this last few years. There seems to be a lot of people on the wrong side of the fence, at least in my opinion. I enjoyed your poem. Best wishes.

Poet, you pose a wonderful little line to ponder at the very end with a quite realistic question set against these times. Good work, write on and write often.
