What a creative metaphor for writer's block. Lately, I suffer from it daily. I never knew where my words went. Your poem should do well in the contest based on it's uniqueness alone. I think that it is clever. Good luck in the contest.

Very nicely written. I enjoyed the metaphorical comparison to Pegasus. Taking off and flying along with a thought is a fun mental image. great job and I wish you good luck.
