Life can certainly have its way with you. I have shared many occasion with such a subject. A well-crafted and relatable piece you have delivered.
God bless

"Lost" is an extremely well-written and delightfully descriptive piece. It was a pleasure to both read and review a work of this standard. You KEEP WRITING and I'll KEEP READING. I look forward to seeing your next post.

The first line "And she poured herself another cup of coffee" reminds me of a former child actress, Eve Plumb, who now likes to paint coffee mugs and simple things. I think you mean "hoping" and not "hopping" in line 2. In line 3 I think you mean "Staring" and not "Starring." Instead of "Or the memories has blazed upward" I think you want to say, "Or the memories have blazed upward." I would put a comma after the word "confusion" and then again after "praying" but the ending line is intriguing. Most of us at our age might think we don't have time to get lost anymore, but then how would we have an adventure?

Hi Isabela. I enjoyed this one. It felt strong even though a little confused by whats being handed out. I don't think anyone has to wait for the coming of the ONE because I think if anyone cares to look, the ONE is already here. Great work. Keep writing. xoxo Kiwi

This is beautifully stated. I love the concept of getting lost without purpose! Sometimes it does seem like that! Reader enjoyed the structure of your free verse!! :)
