What a fun interpretation on this one, Debra!! :) I'm still working on my quirky thought that happened when I first saw it... LOL! ;) :) I like it when you do these rhyme-schemes...you have a knack for really making them entertaining and able to convey quite the emotions, even in short form! ;) See, I'm still smiling!! ;): ) LOL! Maybe the duck will be easier to pluck if it shrivels a bit? What a 'cool' poem, lucky duck to find that dish to cool off in. Your poem had me smiling very quickly. Well, it had to be quick because it all happened in only 4 lines. Very skilfully done.

Maybe the duck will be easier to pluck if it shrivels a bit? What a 'cool' poem, lucky duck to find that dish to cool off in. Your poem had me smiling very quickly. Well, it had to be quick because it all happened in only 4 lines. Very skilfully done.

How funny, and what a perfect use of the photo. I can picture the poor duck like a little shriveled up raisin.
