Oh yes, very clever Maria. It reminds me of years ago before the automated bowling lanes when you had to wait for them to be re-stood up, all the siblings. This tale gave me a chuckle.
cheers,
valda

Oh my gosh! Too cute! Entirely short and full of great humor. Well deserving of a six. This is why I never read the ending first! Great job!
You should do stand up comedy!

Ha, ha. I really like this one. It's so short and simple, and yet I didn't see the twist coming. Brevity can pack a powerful literary punch {smiles}.
I didn't pick up on any spags.
A great piece of flash fiction {smiles}.

A good analogy of bowling pins withstanding the blows that come their way. In life, we strive to do the same thing. Some are stronger than others. Marilyn

LOL! You come up with the strangest stories, I can just picture the pins standing proudly waiting to be knocked over again. This was so funny, well done, Maria, you always come up with such good flash fiction stories. :)) Sandra xx

Hello Maria. In the first paragraph, I wondered where you are going with this piece. When I read your last sentence I had to laugh. I have seen families at the bowling alley where they put the covers in the gutters so the kids can make sure their ball gets all the way to the pins. Robert

A very well-written flash fiction about the life of a bowling pin that gets knocked over time after time but always get up and stand proudly to wait for the next blow to knock him over.

Hi Maria. I love bowling. My sweetest friend introduced me to the sport. Played with 3 other girls and got 2nd for the season. This is funny and a great little tale. Love it. xoxo deborah

I don't think I ever met a bowler that wasn't the best person. Kind and generous and super fun. Yeah this is a great little write. xx
