You adhere to the 5-7-5 structure. The question is can you make them laugh in 17 syllables. The answer is yes! When I read this I couldn't help but laugh. Kong can do it all. Your poem is creative and imaginative. What really brought it home for me was the picture. To have him reading a book is funny. Good job and I hope you win the contest.
