You almost had two, I repeat, two 5-7-5, Author. :) I like the picture and the tittle says it all. "Man," the ape thinks, "is the next step to stardom." Your other 5-7-5 is in you notes, all you had to do is use "writing his next script." This is and was a good entry for the 5-7-5 contest.

This is funny. I could see the king explaining to the director how this next scene ought to go. I'm sure that he was the one conducting the interviews for the girl that he would be carrying. I commend you on presenting and bringing forth this clever and well thought out work. Well done!

Cute - "reading scripts" - oh well, they say apes are most like humans? Good poem - I think it would be better with darker font - I found this one a bit hard to read.

Yep the book title and humorous verse gets the extra star. Very inventive use of the King Kong story.
Minor issue that does not affect my review or rating: the contrast between text color and background does not have a crisp contrast IMHO. Bolding the text may help, but tinkering with your colors may improve the contrast.

Yep the book title and humorous verse gets the extra star. Very inventive use of the King Kong story.
