This is nice and evokes the sense of blue feelings with the repetition of "turquoise waters." It feels like lyrics to a song. I like the phrase "to sail away into eternity." Not sure what to improve on! Good luck in the contest.

At your cottage by the sea you alone dreamt every night about the two lovers who made plans to sail away into eternity; well said, well done. Keep Writing, Inspiring, Changing

A very well-written Trimeric treat poem about dreams that do not work out as we dreamed about it, but we will never forget the beautiful memories we shared with loved one and the dreams we dreamed together.

There's much sadness in these words and gazing into water can often evoke such memories as we return to the past, I am not familiar with this form and your poem flowed perfectly, just liked water, love Dolly x

Awww, he sailed away without her. You would think love would last forever in a beautiful place like that. Hopefully she won't be alone too long. Good luck in the contest.

Oh my gosh, how moving, how poignant... evoking such sad feelings of how it didn't work out due to fate's interventions, left living alone when they had such plans of together times. The sense of longing is very strong, and sailing off into eternity is the solution, the calm at the end of the lonely life.

This is excellent. Your story meets all of the contest criteria. This is very good. It makes a great contest submission and should do very well in the voting booth. Contests on FanStory are difficult to win, but you may do it.

There is a sweet and sad tone to this piece which truly moves the reader. I can feel the sense of loss and love. Plans altered can be devastating when it comes to affairs of the heart, and you capture that with enormous grace.
