Thank you for sharing the exuberance of love in this free verse. I admired your alliteration of "s's" to add to its intensity, along with the vivid imagery and mood-setting artwork. Best wishes in the contest- Joan

Dear Sanku,
For to sail across the water is pure joy itself. In celebration of his coming. For I take you mean Christ who inspired all He met. Teaching love is the way that humans should exist. But will He come again? Perhaps, if we believe.
Regards,
Winslow

Excellent poem that showed much.
I could see you soaring over the white
capped waves.
An easy read with a good pace that kept
this reader wanting to know if you found
your love.
Thank you.

I could feel the mist of the water on my face and the joy of the memories as you swooped and swayed above the waters. I also felt your silent fear and despair over whether he will come again. Well written. Keep at it. V

Great alliteration and descriptive words. Loved how it went from "when" to "will" to the vulnerability in the question "Won't he..?" at the end. Beautiful work. Well done.

I think you were one of the very few readers who caught on that point .Thank you very much for that.

In my opinion, a beautiful rendering in both verse and image regarding the prompt - awaiting the return of love, actually, to once again revel in the joys of each other and the pleasure about them - much luck in the contest with this smoothly fluid, free verse poem...

I like how you show the narrator exults in ecstasy with spirit rising high among the seagulls. (I suggest making the first two words one word.) And like all human emotional highs, there is danger that we could just as easily plummet as you show the doubt at the end.

Hi Sanku
This is terribly romantic and such imagery! I enjoyed the highs and lows of this one and think it would be so so wonderful for all to know such love. Good luck.
