The writing prompt states the poem must relate to a season which was not done and must be revised.
The syllable counts do not agree with requirements for any lines. This poem requires extensive revision.

The instructions for this contest are crap, so it's no wonder yopur poem doesn't conform to the rules. You should end up with a poem that begins with a one-syllable line, then a two-syllable line, then a three... get it? Like a nonet, but without a limited or minimum line count.

You are right. I misread the instruction, but I'm happy with the result. Thank you

I wanted to give you a heads up. The contest announcement says: Pick a favorite season and write a poem. Each line in the poem should have an additional syllable. So the first line will have one syllable. The next line will have two. Any length. The number of syllables is for the sentence - not the individual words. So the first line will have one syllable. Second line will have two (but can have multiple words). Etc..

in general, I think this poem will have problems. The announcement says the first line will have one syllable, but the first line here has four. I think there are problems throughout, but you may have time to fix it. Good luck.

It was silly. A little lost in translation on what is going on here. I feel you could omit the ellipsis found in the poem. Unless, there is something I'm not getting. This is just my opinion and on no way wanting to come off rude. I wish you the best!

It is a silly poem! Your rhymes are fine. Methinks your 'kitties with tatoos' needs a spelling edit. But in looking up that tat word online, I actually found that it is also a variant spelling of tattoos. LOL

The double 't' version is more common.

Best of luck in the contest.
