This is funny, but in my case it was never the in-laws. It was my own mother. In fact, I didn't even invite her to my 50 birthday party because I didn't want her embarrassing me in front of my friends.

I like this poem. Your poem adheres to the rules of a Senryu poem. Your poem is very funny. I don't have in-laws but I hope when I do they won't summon terror. Good choice of words. Good Job.
