I know I asked elsewhere what is the official Summer Vacation start and finish?

Our last day was in the third week of May (that was finals). For the students, they start back the 14th (for some it's the 6th or others in-between depending on the school district). :)

Yes, doing what I can on the story front, but I had teacher meetings all last week (for which I had to prepare the week before and this week are the parent and student orientations....then school starts next week...so, I'm kinda busy - LOL!! :) I'll get there, though, just as soon as I can get two of my boys off to college/grad school. :) ;) ;)

Very moving and touching! The image that goes with it is absolutely perfect too! This is just a bit of advice, but I think the poem would (maybe?) read better if you suppressed the comma on the fourth line (it seemed a bit strange to me to have a break one syllable before the end of the line, especially in such a dreamy poem where the rhythm flows so well). In any case, great poem! (Also, I'm happy to have found another scientist; I'm currently studying applied math).

I like this. I get some alliteration with "soul" and "silence" as emphasized words. It seems it is easier to comprehend the essence of eternity of we learn how to be silent and listen. So this poem seems to suggest the importance of silence, or learning how to be reverent, even. It seems like you didn't use periods for a reason, although you definitely capitalized independent sentences and used a comma in a good place after "unyielding," so maybe add the periods back in after "silence" and "eternity." But it's up to you!

A lovely spiritual reflection. Yes, the soul "holds eternity" because it is immortal. Sometimes, while the soul owner still lives on earth, there are a great deal of time lacking quiescence. But I guess the time beyond this life, there will be more. Love that word!
