That was excellent, Kay, with wonderful, smooth rhyme, and the rhythm bounced along nicely. I love that picture from the Picture This group. Your words go beautifully with it. Well done!! :) Sandra xx

Hello Possum, Thanks for reading. I wrote it in a hurry. I was more interested in placing Third in the True Story Contest! The story was called, "While I live, I'll grow." Love, Kay.

I enjoyed your poem about Henry. You did a good job with his story, Aussie. I like the great rhymes and the smooth flow of your lines. The hot weather seems to have confused Henry. I'm glad he found some cool water to rest in. (I know this is just for fun). Thanks for sharing. Jan

Yep, I wrote it in five minutes. Glad you liked it. Did you catch "Yalunga" about how Great Spirit sent the Rainbow Serpent to make the rivers. Bless you, Kace.

Somehow the name Henry suits him perfectly! Might need a little therapy if he thinks he's a fish. I'm watching our son's turtle while he and his family are on a cruise. Was told he liked boiled eggs. So, I boiled one, put it in his tank - and he sat on it. He think's he's chicken! Should introduce these two confused critters! I enjoyed this piece for the challenge.
