A haunting image your Muse portrays in the stillness of the night deserves recognition.
Like 'hoot' and 'winging her ways' as most expressive words/phrasing.

my favorite birds,
and what better one to
have for a muse-they
are very wise!
-The syllable count is good,
and I like the use of owl
imagery to show what
kind of muse she is.
-Effective alliteration in line two,
and a very good satori like ending.
