There is a saying people come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. I guess Red was definitely there for a reason to save your daughter. This is a nice straightforward story. My only suggestion is the beginning is a bit confusing. I wasn't sure if the dog was dead and the ghost saved your daughter or if he was alive. Well done otherwise.
