An interesting read and an amusing insight into the goings-on in the army. There were a few mistakes as far as text editing is concerned (e.g. the second line of the Germany part skips into the next line with no reason and repeats the word "was", and in the first sentence of the third paragraph of the Germany part there should be no "and" as the first part of the sentence is a subordinate clause of reason), but a reread should take care of those mistakes. Otherwise, a great story!

Turkey 1966 it was sterile fallopian tubes and prop wash. The fallopian tube went went south when the Chief Nurse got involved, she gave a newbie a cathiter with th instructions that the SOB's could see her if there were any questions. The wash went the same way when base supply got a solvent for cleaning props.

I love that he also got a date with Helga. He not only got the white out but he also got a date. That really back fired. I guess the whole thing back fired but look at the story you got. It was a fun read and made me laugh.

Funny - good - sounds like your "Gomer Pyle" gotcha' . Pushups - my hubby was in army 6 years - he has tales of training times. Like going under barbed wire with live ammo being fired above you. Great story - keep it up.
