A very sweet love poem, Alicia! What I like is that before the "rendezvous" of the lips, there was a meeting of minds and words speaking of life and faith in the romantic environment of the moonlit sky.

Hi! Something is necessary to set the mood besides nature. Lolz. Thank you. Hugs, Alicia

Hi Alicia. Very nicely worded love poem. The line that stuck out for me most was this one:
"Life is not life if the mind does not feel,"
One could ask: Did she mean to say 'heart' in this spot?
In re-reading it, 'mind' is a good choice because the mind is in torment when in love--until the next meeting.
Great job.

You're a complete sweetheart. I heard on talk radio that women tend to view the heart completely romantically, but men tend to view romance and heart as an idea in the mind. I don't know the psychology of it, I'm still single. However, grammatically... it works.
Thanks again for the review and stars.
Goodnight. Hugs, Alicia :)

Hi Alicia. You're welcome. What I know about men you can put in a thimble. LOL! I think the biggest joy is to appreciate each other's differences. I do believe they view "love" differently. :) Marilyn

A very well-written poem about a very romantic moment you penned down on your phone. The best poetry come from nowhere and when it comes to us we have to write it down in whatever way.

It's good to see you mixing romantic inspiration with a wise perspective, indeed on cannot possess faith unless one believes, whatever that faith believes. I know because I'm an optimist, I always had hope, and without hope a similarity plays host to faith. Well done Alicia, may you indeed find love, or love finds you. Beautifully written my friend. Blessings, Roy

I remember the thrill of those kissing rendezvous. You well composed poem took me back when two hearts beat anxiously as one. You really don't know what your missing till it's gone.

Dear sunnilicious,
Great last line. Did the rendezvous linger or was it quickly over? For love is the greatest feeling, so intense it can blaze forever.
Cheers,
Winslow

Hi Winslow! The poem isn't based on any man in particular. I put myself on a dating site, but can't really handle it. I was just daydreaming in general. Thank you. Hugs, Alicia :)

Strange how that works, romance comes knocking at the door of your heart and you have to write a poem. That's how the best poetry is birth. I enjoyed it alot.
