My grandmothers and great-grandmother all taught me to use this word. So much sweeter than the words used today, don't you think?
Your poem well expressed the meaning of 'horsefeathers,' and you used a great piece of artwork to complement your poem.
I appreciate and like your use of punctuation within the poem.
A perfect 7-9-7.
This is really a great contest entry. Very best wishes!

Thanks for the encouraging review and your personal take on this one. This word would certainly take the sting out of any rebuke. Cheers, have a great week end. j

:) I do believe I'll start chanting the word 'horsefeathers' every time one very special teenage granddaughter of mine spits a bad word from her mouth.
Thanks, my dear friend!

Great graphic to untwine the lost conceptual word. Horse feathers was. A very favorite of my grandfathers whenever hope would disagree with any topic. Fun piece and good success.

I had to look this up on google because I have never heard of 'horse feathers' before and it seems that it means 'horse s**t' or something nonsensical, so there is some obscurity here, I finally understand, love Dolly x
