Good little froggy flash fiction story Trisha.
Mythical, mystical, and rejected by the others, - I wondered if that's where the fanstory (in the title) came from LOL
Love the picture, but then I do like the gargoyles. Enjoyed this one,
cheers,
valda

How fun! And I am amazed that someone would 'gargoylize' my fun frogs! ;) LOL! A great imaginative offering for the contest, Trisha! :) Thanx for sharing and best of luck! ;) Yvette

Talk to the chemical plant owner! It?s actually becoming more of a problem (mutated genes) than we probably think. Thanks for reviewing.
    Hugs Trisha,
Congratulations on your lovely poetry contest wins

Bucketlist, I saw your artwork and had to read this story. What a sad little tadpole turned mutant. I feel like it's maybe a story about how we sometimes feel on the inside-like we are a mutant, somehow different when really we are all just from the same lily pad.
Nice work. Good luck in the contest.

We are ruining the natural balance by pouring poisonous waste into streams and rivers.this frog was the victim of his father?s mutated genes,.thanks for reviewing positively

Good luck in the contest. Where do you get these fantastic frogs, Chemical waste is responsible for any changes to plant an animal soon to be man?

Man?s desire for advancement and wealth also lead to careless or blatant disrespect for nature. Thanks for your review,

Hi there,

Nice job with this little piece. A sad tale indeed as BatFrog laments...

He then resembled a gargoyle - need end punctuation here.

All the best
GMG

At first I wondered if this was s parody of either the ugly duckling or Rudolph the red nosed reindeer. Cute or maybe not so cute twist at the end. ;>)

This is an excellent flash fiction tale. I like stories about mutants. I have always wondered, when a mutated four limbed animal has wings, what do you call them? I'm reluctant to call them angels or devils. The picture you used is also excellent. Gargoyles are carved from stone and become mobile on the clichéd dark stormy nights. Oh, what wonders you have evoked. Well done.

Poor frog! I've heard of freak animals born too close to chemical waste disposal sites. Is that a real picture? That poor animal wouldn't know what he is. Good luck in the contest.

I told a story to some children about a tadpole that lived in tadpole swamp. This tadpole dreamed of growing up to be a beautiful goldfish. Imagine her disappointment when she turned into a toad.

If he's a Fanstory frog, does that make us all freaks on this site??? He clearly is a superior frog because he can read the Lily Pad News.
Your story is a sad indictment on all who can't tolerate 'difference', and also on our modern era of toxic discharges leading to mutation and chemicals making diseases for living things. Basics of human life: clean water, love each other.
