I'm not sure how to write a review without all the descriptions you have eliminated.
Acrostic? Yes. A bit long for me, but, that's on me! Nice! it's okay.
And perhaps that just might happen, since we all, already have numerous numbers assigned to our name as it stands now.

Your poem makes us think about how impersonal our world can get if we let it. A name individualizes us and keeps us unique. Your poem flows well and is unique in its own right. The picture adds to your work. Together they make quite a package.

Great acrostic poem obliquely written to bring to the fore the primacy of getting a name attached the creator as well as the things he created.
The work highlights the perverted wisdom of a king, who replaced the names things with numbers, which unfortunately constituted a mismatch between the goals and intentions of the things that were given numbers as identity.
The work earns its texture through its perfect compliance with the acrostic objective as well as using corroborating anecdotes in summing up the futility of replacing names with numbers.
Excellent work. I thirst for a six star to award you.

The author's words are interesting, descriptive and creative. Thank you
for the author's notes - I found them clearly stated. The poem flows
and connects well. The last stanza end these words well. The artwork
compliments these words.

Indeed, every word we use in communicating carries meaning in the context stated. Numbers make us stop thought while names develop thought. We need to stay human....John

I liked the storyline which kept me interested in seeing where this would lead. Very imaginative. You could write children's books if you have not. You are good at creating a realistic scene in one's mind. Excellent presentation!

Nice commentary on the name of god. Reminds me of the Arthur C Clarke story, the " Million Names of God". Worth a read. Like the last stanza, the best sums up the poem.

A very creative poem with its humor also rings a little truth. Wonderfully written that showers from line to line. Thanks for sharing. I really enjoyed it. God bless

Hello ALD, an acrostic as a humour poem but there is, in my opinion, an element of truth. We are all numbered in one way or another if you think about it. But of course we keep out name as well. You stressed the importance of a name, especially for God. True, we need a name as well as a number. We get nowhere with just a name in the commercial and technical world. We have numbers for everything, tax man, insurance, medical, etc. Well done, Dorothy x
