Good on you! Of course, I cannot win this prompt because, as with yours, I am getting strong agreement on my position. That was not the assignment! But, better than any win is knowing that I have kindred spirits - even in my special place, Oz. Please allow me to share this: On my first business trip to Australia, maybe 25 years ago, I boarded a plane in Adelaide for Perth. The gent seated next to me was interested to know what I thought - this being my first. I said I find it like home in Texas: Friendly people, poisonous snakes, many great beers and two cities who can agree on nothing, Dallas and Houston- they bicker loudly like Sydney and Melbourne. He laughed loudly and said, "Yes, and those of us who live in Adelaide or Perth know that they're arguing over 3rd place!" Port Hedland was hot, Ularu was too much (top of the chain for me), Tassi was very special, Caines was Japanese. I'll never forget. Do you remember Hemingway's "Old Man and the Sea"? The old fisherman who so fondly remembered and dreamed of the lions playing on the beach? I'm long retired, but I think often of the roo's and the emus on the golf courses. I pray that He will allow me one more trip down under... Sorry, we Texans do carry on. Please tell Australia I love her and I miss her... Best regards!

I like your line about Trump sounds like me. It's true that he speaks for Americans like you, voices your concerns. I'm tired of the Squad and their kind saying that anyone who disagrees with them is racist. People are objecting to their ideas, not their race.
