It is a long and solitary path you tread but, you did it with much grace and dignity, my friend. I especially liked the second stanza as it was quite well executed and serene in its sadness - flowers find no friends. Well done and thank you very much for sharing it.

This poem, Within the Pathway of My Sadness, brings the past horrors into a vigil that picks at the wound to keep it open. Death of a son creates mourning that must be remembered and felt again.
