I think it is worth reading but fat books are rather off-putting these days, when there is poetry and reviewing to do!

Absolutely brilliant. What a pity you couldn't employ the title of my book. I would have thought 'The Ultimate Betrayal' would have been an apt match somewhere there.

I suspect your poem might not be entirely true (poetic license). And, I doubt that you embraced the requirements of the prompt, but your efforts, collecting, sorting, and melding those titles, rhymes, and a fine sense of humor, to create an entertaining poem, instead of what could have been a dry discussion of a list of book titles, is deserving of special recognition, regardless of what was expected of the contest entrants.

Dry discussions are not for me... a list of books with a sentence about each would be dull. I felt that by having such a panoply of diverse books it would show 'how you feel about them or what meaning they gave you' (as the prompt asked for)... i.e. the imagination to be different, through embracing the variety of influences inherent in such broad reading.

This is super duper clever!! Loved it. I have read a number of books you listed. The Kite Runner is still one I still think about. It was so sad and disturbing in many ways, but at least there was some redemption in the end. Really well done and I do hope you win the contest. Rox
