I like how you connect the Buck Moon to the historical moon landing in this brief septolet poem! You have elements of time and moon in both the stanzas taking is from the present to the past.

Why did you mention "July" in this poem? Is it simply because the footprint is still there? The moon landing happened in June. I think it would have made people was nostalgic, if July were June. Just a thought. Also, using "shape" and "shapes" could have been two completely different words.

Yeah, I thought it was at the end of June. Remembered wrong. Still an overwritten about subject. But to each his own.

And I remember listening on the radio, as we were traveling in the car at the moment, and being so excited about the whole thing. Thank you for this wonderful reminder of such a momentous occasion.
