True - Jesus Christ is the only perfection. He never sinned. He loved unconditionally and still does. I know it's hard at time to overlook imperfection - but I'm glad some do - as I'm sure never perfect.
Good poem

You're presenting a valuable message I hope gets read by many FS members.
Take time to look past imperfections
and examine what lies beneath
you just might find an inner beauty
that will totally fascinate you.
This is a prime example of great wisdom. I think we can lose a lot if we allow our perceptions to get tainted over observing an imperfection, perhaps physical, in an individual who has no control over it. A perfect example are children with Down syndrome who are the most loving human beings ever born.

Thank You! This is profoundly beautiful and inspiring. I'm certain your readers will appreciate this offering. It gives us all hope who have ever felt in any way flawed or that we were lacking in some irreparable way; "damaged goods" as it were. Good Job!

As I read this piece I am reminded of the phrase, "perfect is the enemy of good." It is stunning how many wish for perfection in others but will accept mediocrity in themselves.

We are all imperfect creatures. I have some defects and am not perfect in my life. I can relate to this poem. But, we all live happy lives. Nice work! Thanks for sharing!

Yes we do have a tendency to notice the bad or ugly instead of the beauty in people, if only it could be the other war around, this would be a much better world, very well written****kahpot
