Jesus gave us an example on how we should live. He accepted all, as we should. He loved us all as we should. Thank you for reminding us to follow Jesus's example.

"Take time to look past imperfections
and examine what lies beneath
you just might find an inner beauty
that will totally fascinate you."
I feel the same, and applied this adagio many times in my life, never failed to find that fascinating beauty! Thank you for your poem,
Gianina

"Imperfection" is an extremely well-written and delightfully descriptive piece. Not for a moment would I attempt to answer this talented poet's rhetorical question. To me, this is a six, but unfortunately I only have fives left. I look forward to seeing your next post.

that you would consider it a six is enough praise for me, duchess - thanks,
jan
jan, you're very welcome. I'm disappointed I didn't have a true six left.
Take care and God bless,
the Duchess !(-_-)!

Its true. I subconsciously look for flaws in actresses. The media has done it to me . I try not to look at flaws in persons as I'm hard on my own, trying to fix, where possible.
You've got me thinking about this poem.

I agree ...since no one thing or person is perfect we live in a world of imperfections ... we must celebrate these not as defects but as uniqueness . We must all dig deep to uncover the Nagy- Lobber

A very well-written poem about our imperfections, although many people may think the are the most perfection everyone can wish to be, their imperfection lies in the way they treat the rest of us who are all imperfect in their eyes.

I like to think that our imperfections can be our greatest strengths in life. Who says our imperfections are bad? I also think they are unique and I hope you are able to help someone see their beauty with this. Imperfections definitely aren't bad

The artwork you chose to illustrate your insights is perfect. What is stained glass basically? Broken glass soldered together. If society could look beyond imperfections and embrace one another's differences, we would reflect the light and beauty like that window. Well said.

You have a wonderful perspective. People shouldn't be judged on their foibles or imperfections. A beautiful soul might dwell under a less than perfect exterior. It's something we all need to remember, but that many don't. Thank you for reminding us that what counts is what's on the inside.
