Well done Yvette. For a moment I thought you had lost the plot completely.

Nice way of sharing a message with the us of a variation on the words and the colour scheme

hugs

Freda

This is you and no other. My dear Yvette in Kodachrome color. I enjoyed this and the formatting set it apart from the ordinary.

I'm sorry you felt the need to state that your misspellings were intentional. Ya never know who is gonna wander in and read yer memoirs. I guess we have to be prepared to be misunderstood. LOL! :+)

Sending you my best today as always.

Yeah, you know, after the first few reviews came in with 'misspelling corrections', I went ahead and put that one statement -- of course, the rest of the author notes with color definition and such were already there..... but, c'est la vie!! ;) ;) Glad you enjoyed, Lady Sal -- thanx for the review! ;) ;) Yvette

I am glad you were inspired by the Club's prompt to create this tiny memoir. How wonderful that your life has been so satisfying--here's to many more years of colorful experiences! Big cheers- Joan

I wish sometimes I could stop someone from turning the kaleidoscope of my life and I could just look at just one tint for awhile-how about a cheery yellow or a calming blue? But I know in a few years, as my kids leave the nest, I will long for these breathtakingly chaotic days. Great poem, and even better an accurate commentary on small town life!

Oh, you will in some ways and in others? yeah, not so much...kinda nice to have some 'breathing time' after you realize it's REAL!! ;) :) LOL! thanx for the review, Carla -- enjoy what left of the summer! :) Yvette

C'mon Yvette. Are you trying to fool me? It took me a minute or two to figure this one out. Then I looked at the words right of the picture. The different colors fooled me. I collapsed under the pressure of the variables. LOL (I really do get it) Clever. Z

You so funny -- I've got a visual of the man in your pic (know it's not you, but that's all I got, dude!!) doing this double/triple take on the presentation for this one!! ;) ;) Funny! ;) Anyway, sorry to have thrown all the variables out there...but, you know, for a three variable system, you must have three 'equation definitions' to solve!! ;) :) And that concludes your math lesson for the day! ;) ;) Yvette

    Duh.... 2+2=5. I'VE discovered 1984 in 2019. I'm good at cypherin' Z

This was very interesting and I am so glad you added your notations to explain the errors that became intentional to you. You did indeed master the control of the six words you created. Very much enjoyed Yvette.

Yeah....had to put that notation as the first few reviews thought I actually misspelled all those words! ;) ;) Thanx for the review, Ali! ;) ;) Yvette

LOL don't you just love it when review after review feel you did a boo boo, I learned within six months of joining to add that right up front. You are so welcome Yvette, very enjoyable.

A very well-written poem about the color in our life that is necessary to make us feel alive. There is not much to do in small towns and we have to make life interesting for ourselves.

An impossible assignment in six words, but add the 'colorful dimension' and, perhaps, it's a little closer!! ;) ;) Thanx for the review! ;) Yvette

Yvette,

Very inventive use of colors and spelling ! Truly an inspired bit of memoir writing. Your selected illustration just adds to my intense feeling of your basic presentation of life in its various manifestations. LOL

Not that my review is affected, but when I view on my iPad (I rarely use my desktop any longer, except to print something), your third line appears under the illustration, while the other two lines of text are to its right.

Mark

Thanx for the review, sir, and for the heads up..... the last time you mentioned this, i suggested turning the pad 90 degrees and seeing if that makes a difference (it does on my phone).... does it on your pad? ;) ;) Take care! ;) ;) Yvette

That trick only works on my new iPhone. I sometimes use an older iPad so I am unsure if this seeing it sideways will occur on a new operating system. I rarely go to my iMac desktop for any reason except to print something (-:

Goodness, Yvette!
What a gorgeously arranged presentation you've assembled for our mind's-eye pleasure.
Amazingly, I even did double-takes and figured out the intent of each creative misspelling before I read your explanations, and your composition is an absolutely perfect match to the artwork ... sheesh!
Love the brightly-colorful, encouraging message, too.

Fantastic work, Yvette ... the club should pin kudos all over this one.
Thanks for sharing another of your excellent 6-star pieces ... you really know how to please! ~ Richard : )

Oh my goodness, Sir Richard!! I am so very sorry i am behind on these replies (youngest had his wisdom teeth out yesterday), but I'm wearing another huge smile this morning because of you!! ;) ;) And I'm glad you enjoyed my 'colorful' offering -- it definitely wasn't easy to do this in six words so I was 'sneaky' and mispelled everything to add another dimension!! ;) :) LOL! Thanx again and have a wonderful week! ;) ;) Yvette

P.S. You changed your pic again -- is this one really you?!! ;) :)
