I prefer McD's coffee, but DD's honey glazed donut! In my youth, I could eat many. Now as an adult, one a week is a special treat.

The association of sticky rich treats and romance is a strong one. The images are fun.
I'm curious about the word 'through' because it makes 'creamed' sound like a verb. Perhaps you are you using it like dwell or occupy?
All in all, it sounds like a lovely oasis in a busy day.
