This one has me wanting to hear the rest of the story. It makes me ask myself the question, what would have happened is Mary's parents had insisted on an abortion? A creative way to look at the issue of teen pregnancy and abortion.

Mary's story must have been unbelievable to her family and back then the punishment for pregnancy out of wedlock was stoning to death. How did she convince the village that she was pregnant with an Angel story? Either she is brilliant and did an amazing job to convince them or she truly had an angel visit. But would we believe her today? Thank you for your review. So many questions to consider. I loved your reply. Thank you.

As I enjoyed your story.

Good way to write about something so delicate to discuss about. I think that abortion is controversial. You did this story well. Good luck in the contest!

It is a delicate subject. But I have always wondered how Mary stayed alive when it was punishable by death back then. Thank you so much for responding.

You're welcome.

There does not need to be penetration to become pregnant and it is quite possible to conceive and still be a virgin. I hope I don't upset anyone here and I am not trying to say that the Virgin Mary had any relations with a man, I am just stating the facts about conception. I enjoyed your dialogue as it seems so believable, love Dolly x

thank you so much. I know it is a delicate subject But I have always wondered how Mary stayed alive when it was punishable by death back then. Was she just convincing or was she a true virgin. So interesting.
