A very uplifting poem that speaks to the heart. The first line of each stanza reminded me of the song back in the sixties, "One Two Three.... Oh how happy I could Be".... The photo enhances your poem.

Hello Poet, I like the sentiment behind this poem a lot. Yes, when you find your soulmate, compatibility is like having great dancing partner. I am no expert, but I feel this poem was weakened by the use of cliched phrasing and lack of imagery. Some sensual or visceral imagery would bring this write to another level--almost like the dance itself being described. Regardless, I wish you well in the contest.

I especially like the rhythmic structure of this poem, which is like a dance in and of itself. The underlying message of am dance with one's true love adds to the upbeat nature of the poem. Nice one!

Such a joyful poem. It could be worked into a song, I think. That stanza reminds me of my hubby and me. We get happier every day. I guess I got lucky, and I can't complain about my choice. I CAN complain about a lot, but not that. :)

Apart from the last line in each stanza, this could well be dancing a waltz, I believe that dancing with the right partner, it really is like dancing with a waltz, the most elegant of dances, beautifully composed Rachelle, good luck. blessings, Roy
