I like the photo for a warm cup of any beverage surely creates the warm memories for the ancestral smiles that are never forgotten. I do appreciate you sharing your poem for this 3 line poetry contest entry.

Nevermore but evermore might sum up this state of affairs that is almost bound to afflict all of us at some time or another. Perhaps it gives a lie to that Shakespearean quotation that:
'the evil that men do lives after them;
the good is oft interred with their bones.'
You have chosen the longer, 5-7-7, version here and it allows for the inclusion of that important memory, your smile.

We all are going to look longer sooner or late that part of life program I look in the mirror and say wow-yet I refuse to have any more pity party's and enjoy today and what kind of blessing He will give me tomorrow

Sal, Thank you for your welcomed review of my short poem and thoughtful words :-) I have been away - overseas. I only got back yesterday. I have been helping to pack up my mother's house. Since my father passed it has been difficult to write much, hence the big gaps in my reviewing and posting. I hope for things to change after my mother is settled in her new place.
