I especially like the line "your heart, touching mine. It really emphasizes the emotional bonding via a physical touch. If you have that kind of love, you are very lucky. As we age, the memories are either satiated or starving. I enjoyed your contest entry, good luck

I am a little puzzled by the punctuation - both the stylized dashes bookending line 2 - they look pretty but seem unnecessary, and enclosing line 3 in speech marks. Again there seems little reason for it,
