When i first read this I thought it rather simplistic, but then realized how clever it it really is in that simplicity--you have done an excellent job in capturing not only the requirement of the poem but the usually unspoken support that a spouse can give to their mate. Silly ways--perfect capture of the individual foibles that we all carry--quiet days, again simple yet full of evocative possibilities in a long relationship --Well done!

I hope you take the time to have this framed for her and hung in your home! It is perfection within very short required boundaries and you managed telling the whole story within those parameters.
